Kids’ Choice is a leading provider of early childhood development programs inside the kingdom of Thailand. It aims to teach, take care and train children as well as aid in their development.
Born
in 1990 from a genuine love of children, the company—then established as “Baby
Sitter”—began its first child-care training center for bachelor’s degree
holders and professional nanny service, catering only to high-end clients.
However, as a working mother, Ms. Jirayu Sucharitachandra also empathized with
busy, modern-day parents that longed for a reliable daycare center with
excellent quality that they can trust their children with while they are at
work, which is why in 1996, the company expanded its services to offer early
education for firstborn up until preschool-aged children in various parts of
Bangkok and Nonthaburi under the name “Sucharitachandra Nurseries”, after the
King Rama VI-granted surname of the founder and CEO of the company herself.
Amidst
the nation-wide preparation for ASEAN 2015, the company launched its first
American-based early education center in 2010. Proudly carrying on the same
family-oriented, love-filled traditions and philosophy of Sucharitachandra
Nurseries, Kids’ Choice 1990 adopted a contemporary, psychological approach to
education focusing on self-directed learning and specialization along using
English as the medium of instruction, not only to fulfill the demands of
Generation Y parents but recalling the company name—Kids’ Choice 1990—to be the
choice of the children as well.
